Poems of Thobile Maso

Express of Misery

a poem by Thobile Maso©2002 Thobile Maso

Should I provoke your social being once more
Should I sensitise your human soul again
Let me share this sinister in this hour with you

The low intensive silent war
Creeping invisible to the South
Like virus in the summer night
Worse than Ebola and Congo fever
Viciously and mercilessly brutalising the poor
Blast like volcano with one size fit all
If not corruptors of humanity

WHAT DO YOU CALL

Glory of globalisation unite to divide
Galaxy of glittering oozing blood of labour
From South, East, Asia, Latino America
Let the people and realities dictates
The future will be what they make it to be
Unless they want to be what the parasites want them to be

STOP! CORRUPTORS OF HUMANITY

In the horns of dilemma
Is it tension, pace, target of change
Peace, bread and freedom
Before the day light robbers make a mess
Be warned the greed is getting out of hand
The dishes are making noisy in the kitchen
The spoon is hungry

OH! CORRUPTORS OF HUMANITY

Physical life, Psychological death
Murdered by arrows of daily exploitation
Women Being harried by day and haunted by night
Men paying lips not life service
There is no ready made freedom
Fighting is on Mobilise capacity for strength

CO OPTION OF CORRUPTORS

IS..MOVING LIKE EXPRESS!!
