We'll storm the barricades
We''ll overthrow the system
And bury it with spades
We hail the Labor leader
Who'll bring us fire and blood
That socialistic-anarchistic
Rabble rouser RuddWe'll smash the multi-nationals
And drive them from our land
If they resist we'll rise up
And fight them hand to hand
For Labor has a leader
Whose words are like a flood
That socialistic-anarchistic
Rabble rouser RuddNo more to be exploited
Or thrown out on the dole
For industry and commerce
Will be under our control
At last we have a firebrand
Who'll lead us through the mud
That socialistic-anarchistic
Rabble rouser RuddThough militants regard him
As a jumped up Fauntleroy
The media barons see him
As their little white haired boy
So don't be disappointed
If he preoves to be a dud
That socialistic-anarchistic
